Nothing earth shattering lately, been visiting with family down here. So the images are few and far between. But there are a few….
The small bird below is a Wilson’s Plover, which is a bird of special concern down here. Numbers have been dwindling and they are attempting to protect the breeding areas by informing people and roping off the nesting areas until the little ones are big enough to be out on their own. So far I have seen no evidence of nesting but the pairs are active on the beach.
And we also took a trip to the Naples Botanical gardens, which is always a visual treat!!! A spectacular garden that you should not miss if you are in the area! A tough place to shoot because of the light but well worth the visit!
If the weather breaks we can get back out and I will post more then. Thanks for looking!!!!
