It’s not just us old farts who have to be careful with their balance. This poor little Green Heron probably stopped off at the bar for a couple of drinks the way he was acting.
His first mistake was stepping off a branch without having the other foot on firm ground first. He almost fell there but made a great recovery and continued his hunting for breakfast.
One foot at a time kid!
His next mistake was when he reached for a branch that wasn’t there. His body hit the branch as he was grabbing at thin air and he almost went over sideways. But he managed to regain his composure and continued his attack, but the frog was long gone and all he got was a bath! Some days I know exactly how he feels!
Somedays it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed!!!!
