At dawn this morning we headed to a place we had never been to before called Little Estero Lagoon. It is situated right behind the Holiday Inn in Fort Myers Beach, FL.. It didn't look like much but the bird activity was phenominal! Reddish Egrets, GBH, White Herons, Oystercatchers, Ibis, Egrets, a nesting pair of Osprey and all the little shorebirds were all there. The action was fast and furious for about 2 hours. Many thanks to Ron Meeker from TRPC for tipping us off to this gem! We'll be going back for sure!
